Event 69: Week 12 HoH Comp - Website Word Association

Pinxed, as outgoing Head of Household, is not eligible to participate.

This challenge is called "Website Word Association" because I have hidden a list of 100 words within my website as if I were playing a Word Association game with myself.

The challenge starts at http://games-n-things.com/bb6/hoh12/00head.html and continues with similar URLs of the form games-n-things.com/bb6/hoh12/##_____.html, each URL worth 1 more point than the previous.

Please do not use a dictionary attack program on my website.

Your goal is to get as far as you can through the list of 100 words by Monday February 26th at 10am PT and PM me the link to the final word you found. I only need the link to that word, not a list of any words that preceded it. However, I want to be clear that it is the intent of the challenge that you go through it in order and not try to skip ahead hoping some completely random guess works.

If you find one word, send your PM submission, and then find another word later, you are free to re-submit to earn the greater number of points.

If there is a tie for the most points, the winner will be randomized from among those tied.

GNT BB6 Premise:
Games-N'-Things Big Brother Season 6 (initially titled "Rig Brother") is a twist on the usual game of Big Brother. One player had been selected as the favored player and had twists benefiting them more often than not. The other 16 players could choose to either work with the favored player or work against them to get them out as soon as possible. It was entirely up to the cast. Due to a penalty involving the favored player (Stifled), production eventually took away this twist, so it's a normal game of Big Brother for the remainder of the season.

General Rules:

  1. Unless otherwise stated, all official game actions take place either in the game topics on the Games-N'-Things community board or via PM with DreamwaIker on GameFAQs. You may chat socially with other players through any chat room, forum, telephone, in-person meeting, or messaging system, but such chat does not constitute official game actions.
  2. Host Screencap Rule: You may not in any way, shape, or form show anyone else a real or fake screen capture or other similarly detailed representation of a PM or even the title of a PM inside your inbox between you and the host (DreamwaIker) relating to this game. When in doubt, it is better to ask first. All violations of this rule are encouraged to be reported to the host.
  3. Each game topic will be numbered and titled as an "episode". New episodes will generally begin when an old episode is approaching 500 posts.
  4. The game will be divided into "weeks". We begin in Week 1 and end... eventually.
  5. A typical week will include various competitions, votes, and other special events, culminating in the elimination of one player from the game.
  6. Any deadline for an event will be set at least 36 hours after the event starts.
  7. Head of Household Competition: Most weeks will begin with an HoH comp. All players except the outgoing HoH (the winner of the previous week's HoH comp) will be eligible to play in the HoH comp. The winner will become the Head of Household for the week.
  8. Nomination Ceremony: The HoH will nominate 2 players for eviction from the house.
  9. Selection Ceremony: The HoH and the 2 nominees will each pick a random chip from a bag containing the names of the other remaining houseguests and a "houseguest choice" chip which will allow them to choose the player they want.
  10. Power of Veto Competition: The HoH, the 2 nominees, and the 3 players selected during the Selection Ceremony will compete in a challenge to win the Power of Veto. The winner will become the Veto Holder for the week.
  11. Veto Ceremony: Both nominees are given time to make public speeches to the Veto Holder (unless the Veto Holder is himself a nominee). Then the Veto Holder may choose whether to save the first nominee, save the second nominee, or save neither. If a nominee is saved, the HoH must then name a replacement nominee. The HoH cannot name the Veto Holder or the person who was just saved as the replacement nominee.
  12. Eviction Vote: Both nominees at the end of the week are given time to make public speeches to their fellow housemates. Then everyone except the HoH and the 2 nominees must privately cast a vote to eliminate one of the 2 nominees by PM'ing the host. In the event of a tie, the HoH will publicly make the decision regarding which nominee is evicted. Votes to evict someone are only accepted after that player has given a speech or the speech deadline has passed.
